REST-COAST research was presented at AIOM 2025, held on 30–31 January 2025 at the University of Catania, Italy. The colloquium brought together researchers and professionals working on coastal and marine engineering, risk management and coastal resilience.

As part of the programme, REST-COAST partners presented the contribution “Coastal flood risk mitigation through Artificial Intelligence and Nature-based Solutions” by Sofia Nasca, Massimiliano Marino, Luca Cavallaro, Enrico Foti and Rosaria Ester Musumeci (UNICT). The presentation highlighted project research on integrating artificial intelligence approaches and nature-based solutions to reduce coastal flood risk and enhance climate resilience.
