REST-COAST was presented during the Biennale dello Stretto 2024, held from September to December 2024 across Reggio Calabria, Messina and Campo Calabro, Italy. The multidisciplinary event brought together experts from architecture, landscape, urban planning and environmental sciences to discuss sustainability, urban transformation and the future of Mediterranean cities.

As part of the programme on October 19, a speech by Rosaria Ester Musumeci: “Il restauro della natura e il rischio idraulico” (“Nature restoration and hydraulic risk”) showcased REST-COAST approaches related to nature restoration, coastal resilience and the role of nature-based solutions in addressing climate-related coastal and hydraulic risks.
