REST-COAST was presented at the Varna Science Festival 2024, held from 24 to 27 October 2024 in Varna, Bulgaria. The festival, organised by the Beautiful Science Foundation in partnership with the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Municipality of Varna, brought together scientists, researchers and innovators through presentations, workshops and demonstrations dedicated to making science accessible to the public.

As part of the programme, Petya Eftimova and Nataliya Andreeva presented REST-COAST activities focused on coastal ecosystem restoration through nature-based solutions contributing to coastal erosion reduction in the Foros Bay Pilot site. The presentation highlighted project efforts supporting coastal resilience and ecosystem restoration in the Black Sea region.
