The CMCC Foundation will present Coastal Challenge, a serious video game developed in the context of REST-COAST, at the upcoming Coastal Resilience Symposium: Mitigating Threats for Healthy Oceans, taking place on 4–5 November 2025 in Palma, Spain.
The poster will present the rationale and objectives of the game, and more specifically, its role as a tool for stakeholder engagement and capacity-building in coastal adaptation.
It will also describe the game's structure and mechanics, highlighting how they support the exploration of decision-making processes and the complex trade-offs among ecological, social, and economic dimensions in coastal resilience planning.
The game has reached its final development stage, and the team is now actively presenting it at international events dedicated to climate adaptation and resilience.
