REST-COAST members from the Vistula Lagoon pilot site have compiled an inventory of birds seen on the artificial island for 2024.
A total of 28 site inspections were carried out, with particular attention given to water birds and waders, including both migratory and nesting species. Bird counts were conducted, nests were recorded, and chicks of certain species were ringed. The inspections involved walking around the perimeter of the island, although some visits were only partial and did not include a full count of all bird species.
