REST-COAST research was presented during the 2025 Edition of the PhD Autumn School in Security, Risk and Vulnerability: Insights from the RETURN project, held from 22 to 26 September 2025 in Sestri Levante, Italy. 

Organised within the framework of the RETURN partnership, the event brought together PhD candidates, researchers and early-career scientists working on climate resilience, flood risk and multi-risk approaches in civil and environmental engineering.

As part of the programme, the REST-COAST presented the contribution “Living by the coast in a changing climate: potential risks and sustainable adaptation”. 

The presentation highlighted REST-COAST research related to coastal risks, climate adaptation and resilience strategies supporting sustainable management of vulnerable coastal areas.
