REST-COAST research was presented at the 57th European Marine Biology Symposium (EMBS), held from 16 to 20 September 2024 in Naples, Italy. The symposium brought together marine scientists and Horizon Europe projects to discuss research and solutions addressing marine biodiversity loss and the impacts of environmental change on marine ecosystems.

As part of the scientific programme, REST-COAST partners presented the poster “Effects of abiotic variables in determining the differences in vegetation between natural and artificial salt marshes in the Venice Lagoon”. The presentation highlighted research related to salt marsh ecosystems and coastal restoration, supporting the understanding of environmental factors influencing habitat development and resilience in coastal areas.
