The 5th ESP Europe Conference is taking place between 18 and 22 November in Wageningen, The Netherlands. Organised under the theme Ecosystem Services: One Planet, One Health, the event is expected to gather a large number of experts from across Europe and beyond to address various sustainable development and global health challenges.
Serving as a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and networking, the ESP conference is going to focus on the topics of ecosystem services health, as well as ecosystem services and conditions for transformative change. Against this background, REST-COAST is glad to announce the project’s participation at the conference.
Over the course of the five-day event, REST-COAST is to be represented through an exhibition booth, together with other Horizon projects SELINA and SpongeBoost. Participants are welcome to stop by the booth, grab one of the project’s materials and engage in a conversation with the REST-COAST communication and dissemination leaders of Pensoft.
Moreover, on Tuesday, 19 November, Sara Cabacho of Deltares will join one of the afternoon sessions and share her presentation on “Climate adaptation in coastal regions: a digital dashboard tool for decision-support and MCES assessment”. The focus of the talk will be on highlighting the Quick Scan Strategies Tool, which Deltares delivered last September and developed within the scope of REST-COAST.
If you want to hear more about the Quick Scan Tool and its implementation in climate adaptation in coastal regions, join Session B1 Coastal ecosystem management: the role of ecosystem services in decision-making and restoration actions on 19 November at 17:12 CET.
