REST-COAST is attending the 37th International Conference on Coastal Engineering

18 November 2022

The 37th edition of the International Conference on Coastal Engineering (ICCE) is taking place between 4 and 9 December in Sydney, Australia, where experts from all over the world will gather to exchange knowledge and experiences on coastal related studies, such as coastal waves, nearshore currents, coastal structures, sediment transport, coastal morphology, beach nourishment, natural hazards and coastal management. Amongst the participants is the REST-COAST partner Massimiliano Marino of the University of Catania, who will present the latest results and future plans of the project.

ICCE is the premier coastal engineering conference held biennially under the auspices of the Coastal Engineering Research Council of COPRI and aims at presenting the state of the art developments in science and coastal engineering. This time around, along with insightful presentations from keynote speakers and panel discussions, the attendees will have the opportunity to experience a technical field trip across Sydney’s northern beaches, the Cockatoo Island and the city’s iconic harbour.
