The Building the Leadership for Nature-Based Solutions for Coastal and Marine Ecosystems conference was held on 6 June 2023 both in the European Parliament and online. This hybrid session provided an opportunity for people to attend and actively participate in the communication that was hosted by MEP Catherine Chabaud.

Representer of the REST-COAST project was our partner IUCN who was invited to the event because of their knowledge of nature-based topics and nature-preserving solution ideas. 

Alongside the positive acquaintances that were made, there was an inestimable experience communicated between the attendees.
