REST-COAST at inVulnerabilia 2025 in Genoa

REST-COAST was presented during the second edition of “inVulnerabilia. For a Culture of Vulnerability”, held on 12–14 June 2025 at the Palazzo della Borsa in Genoa, Italy.

The public event was organised by the University of Genoa and focused on promoting dialogue between science, institutions and civil society on a wide range of vulnerabilities and risks, including natural hazards, cybersecurity, social vulnerability and climate-related challenges.

As part of the programme dedicated to natural hazards and risk management, REST-COAST was presented by Rosaria Ester Musumeci (UNICT) during the session “What risks are we exposed to and how can we deal with them?”, focusing on coastal risks and early warning systems.

The presentation highlighted REST-COAST research and approaches supporting coastal resilience, preparedness and adaptation to climate-related coastal hazards.

The event provided an opportunity to disseminate REST-COAST activities to a broader public audience and contribute to discussions on risk awareness, resilience and climate adaptation.
