REST-COAST at the MR2025 conference in New York

REST-COAST was presented at the MR2025: Mobility, Adaptation, and Wellbeing in a Changing Climate conference, held on 16–18 June 2025 at Columbia University in New York, USA. Organised by the Columbia Climate School, the conference brought together researchers, policy makers and stakeholders working on climate adaptation, resilience and climate mobility.

As part of the conference programme, REST-COAST representative Sebastiano Bacca (GCF) presented “The Economic Case for Green Infrastructure in Coastal Flood Adaptation Under Future Sea-Level Rise Scenarios”,  highlighting the role of green infrastructure and nature-based approaches in supporting coastal adaptation and resilience under future climate change scenarios.
