The leader of the Vistula Lagoon pilot site in Poland, Grzegorz Rozynski of the Institute of Hydroengineering is to receive an award by the Smart Development Forum in Poland for a Smart Development Leader. In the aftermath of last year’s prize, awarded to REST-COAST and acknowledging the project for its innovative solutions, developed in the pilot area, this year the award goes to the leading body of the pilot site. 

The official ceremony will take place on 20 June 2024 in Gdansk, Poland. Moreover, in November 2024, this year's Smart Development conference is to take place, where Prof. Rozynski is to give a lecture on coastal restoration concepts and the work developed in REST-COAST.
