REST-COAST was presented at the IV Varna Science Festival, held from 23 to 26 October 2025 in Varna, Bulgaria. Organised by the Beautiful Science Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Varna Municipality and Delta Planet Mall, the festival brought together scientists, researchers and innovators to engage the public through presentations, workshops and interactive activities.

As part of the festival programme, Elitsa Hineva and Nataliya Andreeva presented research on “Coastal ecosystem restoration through nature-based solutions contributing to coastal erosion reduction in the Foros Bay”.

The presentation highlighted REST-COAST activities focused on coastal restoration and nature-based approaches supporting erosion reduction and coastal resilience in the Black Sea region.
