On June 13, BlueNetCat organized a technical conference titled "Restoration of Urban Marine Ecosystems with Solutions Based on Nature." 

The event brought together over 80 international experts, including maritime and coastal engineers, biologists, and more. Held at the Instituto de Ciencias del Mar (ICM) - CSIC in Barcelona, Spain, the conference provided a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration. Notably, REST-COAST members from IUCN, Albirem, and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya · Barcelona Tech - UPC were present, actively contributing to the event's discussions. In an insightful presentation, Andres Alcantara of IUCN, shed light on the objectives and mission of the REST-COAST project for large-scale coastal restoration.
