Organised by the EU TransformAr project, the webinar series Climate Change Adaptation Network, the participants are engaged in various topics revolving around identifying and addressing key challenges to climate adaptation and nature restoration.
This time around, the webinar will look into the pathways of bridging the adaptation finance gap: how to unlock financing sources and investments for climate resilience. The event is jointly organised by the TransforAr project, WaterLANDS, CLIMATEFIT and REST-COAST, all part of the EU Green Deal Cluster.
Taking place on 7 November 2024, in this webinar, we will explore innovative mechanisms, tools and solutions to unlock financing sources and private investments for climate adaptation and nature restoration, specifically focusing on key elements to bridge the adaptation finance gap, including bankability criteria for adaptation projects, the design of local investment strategies and the role of the insurance sector.
