On May 5 2022, REST-COAST held a stakeholder workshop at the Catalonia University of Technology UPC-BarcelonaTech (UPC), Barcelona, Spain for the identification of relevant national stakeholders. The event gathered more than 140 participants from the Catalonian region and all over Spain, where representatives from various leading organisations, such as the Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia and the the Maritime Engineering Laboratory (LIM) were present.

During the workshop the participants had the opportunity to engage in productive discussion on the climate emergency management in ports, the coastal climate challenge as well as the coastal dynamics.

The next such event will take place on 31 May 2022 and will look into the methods for flood control in the Ebro River. The REST-COAST coordinator's institution will be leading the workshop, whilst project partners from EURECAT and other organisations will also be present.
